Ulstrasounds in Pregnancy

During pregnancies, an ultrasound is typically performed ~ 18-20 weeks gestation to assess for growth, development, and age of the fetus.
A full bladder allows for better visualization. Instruct mom to drink ~ 1 quart of water before the procedure (and do not empty bladder until after procedure).
