Labor: Transition Phase

If a laboring patient begins to express feeling out of control it is likely they are in the transition phase with cervical dilation of 8-10cm!
If a laboring patient begins to express feeling out of control (e.g., saying things such as "I can't take it anymore," or "I don't think I can do this,") it is likely they are in the transition phase with cervical dilation of 8-10cm!
