Normal lymph nodes are moveable, soft, nontender, and < 1 cm in size.
Normal lymph nodes are moveable, soft, nontender, and < 1 cm in size. If lymphadenopathy is present (i.e., enlarged, tender, hard lymph nodes) it could indicate infection, allergy, or neoplasm (i.e., cancer).
